Chose a selection of items or just one and wrap them in an eco-friendly, reusable Furoshiki Wrap.

"Furoshiki" refers to both the traditional Japanese cloth and the method of wrapping. They are an easy, eco-conscious and stylish gift wrapping alternative to paper and sticky tape. The furoshiki can either be given as part of a present or retained by the giver.

Wrapping techniques

This infographic will show you how to tie a basic box wrap. These instructions are included with every furoshiki wrap ordered.

Furoshiki can be used in a variety of different ways other than as gift wrapping, including as a:

  • lunchbox wrapper
  • reusable shopping bag
  • handbag
  • picnic hamper
  • tablecloth
  • tissue box cover
  • portable Thermos cover
  • household décor
  • scarf, belt or bandana
  • wrapping clothes when travelling

Furoshiki Sizes

For most wrapping, the size of the object should be approximately one-third of the furoshiki’s diagonal line.

  • Mini, 30-35 cm side/42-50cm diagonal - e.g. selection of smaller gifts: handsalves, lip Balms or candles
  • Small, 45-50 cm side/64-71cm diagonal - e.g. selection of gifts: reed diffusers, gift boxes

Our natural calico wraps are made by The Furoshiki Wrap Company and they offer this selection of video's to explain the wrapping techniques in more detail.

Each wrap is delivered with a Kraft Hoyo Botanicals swing tag.
